General Health Consent

At THE NEWMAN we take the health and safety of our students, families and staff very seriously. We ask that you please read and agree to this Health Consent PRIOR to completing the registration process.

General Health Consent

Your Responsibility to Minimize Your Exposure:

 In order for dancers to gain access to in-person classes, you agree to take certain precautions which will help keep everyone (yourself, other families, and staff) safer from exposure and sickness. If you do not adhere to these safeguards, it may result in termination of in-person classes, without a refund of tuition. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and consideration of everyone within our shared space.

  • You will only join us in the studio (including waiting rooms and lobbies) if you are cold and flu symptom free. This includes parents, dancers, and siblings that spend time in our studio lobbies/waiting rooms.

  • If your temperature is elevated (100.4 Fahrenheit or more,) or if you have other symptoms of a virus, you agree to stay home until you are symptom free for a minimum of 24 hours (without medication), or until medically cleared.

  • If a student has a fever, we require you to be fever free (without medication) for at least 24 hours prior to returning to the studio.

  • If a student has the following symptoms, they will remain out of the studio: Sore Throat, Cold or Cough, Green Nasal Mucus, Vomiting or Diarrhea.

  • Person(s) with suspect or confirmed COVID-19 or Flu must stay out of the studio until they are medically cleared to return.

  • Please do not send your child, or their siblings into the studio space if they are sick or if there is any question they are sick. If you give them medicine prior to coming to class, they are sick. If a student appears to be ill, the Teacher and Director have full discretion to send the student home.
