When: Saturday June 14th, 2025

Show 1: 11:00 AM

Show 2: 4:30 PM

Dress Rehearsal Information:

Where: Maryland Hall

When: Thursday 6/12 and Friday 6/13

Due to limited space during dress rehearsal, we ask that no more than 2 adults accompany their dancer to dress rehearsal. This is not an open event to the public.

There will be NO CLASSES HELD the week of June 9-13 due to dress rehearsals and tech.

On dress rehearsal day, please head into the theatre upon arrival. There will be plenty of seats for each dancer to find a place for their items and parents to grab a seat and watch. Dancers and Aerialists may use the bathroom just outside the theatre to change. Please be aware that we are running on an EXTREMELY tight schedule and we cannot hold performance runs if performers are missing. Please account for traffic and other emergencies. We also recommend arriving ready to perform at least 15-20 mins ahead of your scheduled time.

Please have the correct HAIR, TIGHTS, SHOES, ACCESSORIES, and MAKEUP for dress rehearsal.

Photography

This year, we will have a professional photographer on site at DRESS REHEARSAL!!!

Here are the details:

  • The photographer will set up INSIDE the auditorium for ALL OF OUR AERIAL performances. He will photograph our aerialists as they run their routines under our show lighting.

  • The photographer will set up OUTSIDE the auditorium, in the downstairs lobby. (Please use the stairs to the left of the auditorium, go down, the photographer will be set up off to the left for all DANCE and ACRO photos.) Any dancer that would like to head to our photography station before, after, or in between their dances during dress rehearsal times are welcome to get some photos done! W will have instructors set up at the photo station for assistance, if needed. Feel free to do group photos, sister pictures, brother pictures, or just your dancer as a soloist!

  • DURING THE SHOW: We WILL allow photography to be taken during the show, however, for the safety of all of our dancers, tumblers, and aerialists, ALL FLASHES MUST BE TURNED OFF. Any sudden flashes that occur from the audience can put the safety of our performers in jeopardy.

TIGHTS AND ACCESSORIES!

(Please review the Virtual Costume Book below to note which tights your dancer will be required to wear.)

TIGHTS

All tights can be purchased online or in store at Dance Supplies Etc. in Severna Park. After checking your virtual costume book (bottom of page) for requirements, please use our document below to see what brand/color tights you should purchase.

High Ponytail

You’ll want to use lots of gel and hairspray to eliminate all loose hair.

Makeup Tutorial

The below video is intended to give dancers and parents a basic outline for stage makeup. This is our Competitive Team (TNC) makeup and is not required for the Finale Showcase. **Note, This video was made during Covid and masks were being worn. Please be advised that you’ll want to add blush and lipstick now. Lipstick colors can vary, but our recommendation is for Combo, Pre and level 1/2 dancers to wear a brighter red lipstick. For levels 3,4 and 5 we recommend a darker red/burgundy lipstick.
