Nico Jeffryes found their way to aerial dance and the circus arts through a Groupon promotion for classes at a local circus school in 2013. Despite not being able to do a single pull up, they were hooked! Nico has been training in aerial dance ever since, and has attended trainings at New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA), In The Dark Circus Arts (ITDCA), with Jayne Bernasconi of Air Dance Bernasconi, and with Rebekah Leech of AerialWorks. Nico is a 500 hour certified yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga since 2013, aerial yoga since 2016, and has been teaching aerial fabrics, trapeze, and sling since January 2021. Nico is excited to share their passion for aerial dance and incorporates a technical and creative movement approach to aerial skills and choreography in a fun and energetic fashion. Nico believes, “it’s the circus, after all, we are here to have fun!”
